Accommodation Description
A warm, Welsh welcome awaits you and your family at our wonderful hotel here in the traditional little fishing village of Morfa Nefyn, Pwllheli right at the edge of Wales. Time has barely touched this wonderful piece of paradise, that has managed to remain unspoiled against a backdrop of diverse natural beauty.
From the distant mountains of Snowdonia, around the bays and hidden coves of the sandy coastline, across the ever changing surface of the vast Irish Sea and into the kaleidoscope of colour that is the National Park; the choices are as vast as the land itself.-

From the northeast, the easiest route to the Llŷn Peninsula is along the A55 to Bangor, then to Caernarfon on the A487. From Caernarfon, the A499 takes you towards Pwllheli and is well signposted for Morfa Nefyn.
From the Midlands, take the A5 at Shrewsbury, follow along until you are two miles west of Corwen. Take the A494 to Bala and from there, head towards Trawsfynydd and Porthmadog. Follow the signs to Porthmadog and from there get onto the A497 for Pwllheli, where sign posts will easily direct you to Morfa Nefyn.
The train operator running to Pwllheli is Wales and Border Trains. Trains can only really be used to get to Llŷn from the Midlands (Birmingham). From Birmingham, the train runs through Wolverhampton, Telford, Shrewsbury, Welshpool and Newtown to Machynlleth. The Machynlleth to Pwllheli line runs through Aberdyfi (Aberdovey), Tywyn, Abermaw (Barmouth) and Porthmadog. From the north you need to go through Crewe. Pwllheli is the end of the line and local public transport will take you the rest of the way.
